Mitos bahwa Jurusanlah yang menentukan karir
Pada kenyataan sebenarnya adalah pilihlah jurusan yang sesuai dengan keinginan kamu, jangan berdasarkan kemauan orang tua, sahabat, pacar atau yang lain. Karena jurusan yang kamu pilih itulah yang akan membukakan jalan karir kamu. Tapi jangan dibatasi juga, prospek karir yang akan kamu jalani hanya berdasarkan jurusan yang telah diambil.

Di luar sana banyak sekali pekerjaan lain yang berhubungan dengan jurusan yang kamu ambil. Bahkan sudah banyak buktinya juga, jika banyak mahasiswa yang baru lulus langsung bekerja namun justru tidak ada hubungan sama sekali dengan jurusan yang diambilnya. Karena kebanyakan perusahaan tidak melihat jurusan apa yang diambil, namun lebih kepada tingkat pendidikan kamu apakah S1, S2 atau S3 saat merekrut karyawan.

Itu mitos yang sangat salah, mungkin benar jika hanya beberapa dosen saja yang teratur melakukan absen. Namun mungkin saja di saat kamu tidak masuk, ada dosen yang memberikan materi yang penting dan menarik yang nantinya berguna saat ujian akhir dilaksanakan. Mitos kuliah semacam ini yang akan menghancurkan opini maba.
Mitos bahwa Keadaan akan lebih baik jika kuliah di kampus terkenal
Bukanlah kampus terkenal yang akan membuat kamu lebih mudah mendapatkan pekerjaan. Yang lebih tepat ialah karakter serta softskill yang kamu milikilah yang mempunyai andil besar dalam menentukan masa depan.
Meskipun, tidak bisa dipungkiri jika kampus yang terkenal akan membuka peluang yang lebih besar juga. Tapi perlu diingat juga, tidak semua orang mampu untuk kuliah dikampus terkenal, karena terkadang biayanyapun mahal dan belum tentu bisa dijangkau semua orang.
Mitos bahwa Dosen lebih pintar dari Mahasiswa
Gak selalu benar sih, mungkin seorang dosen harus menguasai mata kuliah yang diampunya. Namun, dalam perkembangan sekarang materi kuliahpun ikut berkembang. Terkadang, justru mahasiswa yang lebih up to date dalam memperoleh informasi. Dan ada juga kamu, dosen yang tak sungkan untuk bertukar pendapat tentang hal baru dalam materi perkuliahan.
Mitos jika Mahasiswa PTS di anak tirikan dibanding dengan PTN
Alamak,,, jangan seperti itu dong kalau menganggap mahasiswa yang berasal dari PTS. Meskipun mahasiswa PTS tapi mereka pun mempunyai daya saing yang sama kamu. Kalau mereka memilih kuliah di swasta, belum tentu karena mereka tidak kamukamus ujian masuk PTN. Mungkin ada alasan seperti jarak, keinginan orang tua, ataupun hal lain yang bukan berarti mereka tak mampu untuk bersaing dengan mahasiswa PTN.
Dalam dunia kerja pun, banyak kok lulusan PTN yang masih menganggur sedangkan PTS banyak yang sudah bekerja. Semata-mata tergantung niat serta kemauan mereka.

Mitos hanyalah mitos, jika mitos kuliah terus berkembang ya itu karena memang dibudidayakan sendiri oleh mahasiswanya bukan karena benar-benar terjadi.
